Police say an officer attempted to pull over a man for speeding on southbound Brentwood Road near Sunrise Highway around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The driver of the vehicle drove his car into the front end of the patrol car, then fled through Bay Shore where it struck another patrol car.
The car continued eastbound before getting off Sunrise Highway at exit 55, where it headed eastbound before stopping at the corner of Bayview Avenue in North Bellport, according to police.
