A young couple was fatally shot late Wednesday night on a dead-end street in West Babylon.

One neighbor told News 12 that they heard six shots fired on Lakeway Drive around 11:20 p.m. When that neighbor went outside into the rain, the person found a male shot three times next to a red Jeep. A woman was still inside the car, shot in the head.

The victims have been identified as 21-year-old Olivia Digrigoli, of West Islip, and 22-year-old Anthony St. Hilaire, of West Babylon.

Hilaire was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip, where he was pronounced dead.

Homicide Detective Kevin Breyer said that Digrigoli was the driver.

Officials say neither victim lived on the block or near the homes where they were found.

Homicide detectives say they are searching for any suspects. No arrests have been made.
