Water returns at apartment complex amid dangerously hot weather

Residents of a Hauppauge apartment complex got their water back Sunday evening after waking up to find no running water amid a dangerously hot stretch of weather.

About 100 people who live at the Fairfield West apartments said their sinks, toilets and showers were all affected.

Some neighbors in the complex said Sunday morning that they would be heading to hotels, while others were waiting for the water to come back on.
