Man charged in connection to string of post office thefts

An Oceanside man is facing charges in connection to a string of post office thefts.
Investigators say Nehemiah Bellamy drove the getaway car for a man who stole money orders from the Franklin Square Post Office last Friday. That suspect still is still on the loose.
But police say they connected the 28-year-old Bellamy to two similar post office robberies.
They say Bellamy also used stolen money orders at two Bethpage Federal Credit Unions earlier this month.
