Alec Baldwin and the Baldwin family have once again hosted their famous Long Island fundraiser to raise money for breast cancer research.
The 8th annual Long Island Hospitality Ball was held last night at the Crest Hollow Country Club.
The sold out event showcases some of the Island's top restaurants and nightclubs, and honors leaders in various industries.
The event was once again hosted by Massapequa native Alec Baldwin.
"You want to believe that they are getting closer and closer to a cure every year, and they are not going to get closer without the money, if they don't have the funding. There are people who are battling cancer, who, if they had that disease 25 years ago, they would be dead," said Alec Baldwin.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund. That organization is named after Baldwin's mother.
