Selden family demands action after unleashed pet mauls, kills their dogs

SELDEN -

A Selden family is demanding action after they say their two dogs were mauled to death by a neighbor’s unleashed Rottweiler Thursday.

Home security footage shows Chelsea Houston walking her family's two Yorkshire terriers, Sebastian and Holly that evening. When she and the dogs are out of view, Houston says an unleashed Rottweiler attacked and killed both of her dogs.

"That could have been a child,” she says. “I remember walking Sebastian when we got him, and I was 13. If I was a 13-year-old witnessing that, I couldn't even imagine."

The family says they want justice for their slain pets.

They say that while they have made a dangerous animal petition with a local shelter, the Rottweiler still hasn't been removed from the neighbor's home.
