Suffolk casino conducts active shooter drill

ISLANDIA -

Long Island’s only casino, Jake’s 58, conducted an active shooter drill on Wednesday morning.

Scores of heavily armed police converged on the casino property.

The police department’s Homeland Security and Emergency Service Section took part in the drill.

According to officials, the casino layout was different than their typical training sites in schools, hospitals and office buildings.
