2 people in critical condition after tree falls on car in Morristown

Two people were seriously injured after a tree fell and crushed a car in Morristown.
The incident happened Monday around 8 p.m. on Ford Avenue, just off Franklin Street.
Morristown police and fire received a call last night on a report of a tree on a car.
Upon arrival, emergency responders saw the four-door vehicle struck by the tree.
It was immediately determined two people were still inside and trapped.
It's believed they were actually moving on Ford Avenue when the tree fell.
Firefighters worked quickly to free the passengers from inside.
They were rushed to Morristown Medical Center and remain in critical condition.
A Toyota Corolla was also damaged in the incident.
