Steel beam from World Trade Center dedicated in Cold Spring Harbor

A piece of the World Trade Center is now dedicated to Suffolk's bravest.
A ceremony was held at the Cold Spring Harbor Firemen's Park on Main Street Saturday.
The 17-foot beam is believed to have come from Tower 1 of the World Trade Center.
It is one of the last pieces of steel recovered after September 11.
The memorial was put up in the fall of 2017 with the help of the Town of Huntington and local construction companies.
