Connecticut political figures condemn efforts of Trump to end DACA

Connecticut leaders condemned the efforts by the Trump administration to end the Obama-era immigration program DACA Saturday morning at a press conference.
Friday marked the 6th anniversary of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.
It protects people who came to the U.S. as children from being deported.
Bridgeport mayor Joe Ganim says mayors from across the country came together in Boston last week to support the passage of the Dream Act, which would create a path to citizenship for those immigrants.
President Trump has vowed to end DACA.
