Englewood police, as well as the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office, are seeking the public’s help finding a driver who hit, and critically injured, a teenager.
The accident happened Monday around 10:50 p.m. on Knickerbocker Road, near the intersection of Bilmar Place.
The male victim was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition.
Authorities have not identified the victim, but a GoFundMe page identified him as Cristian Valdez, 15.
The page says Cristian "is currently in a medically induced coma, and we are hoping he gets better soon."
According to police, the vehicle drove away from the scene northbound on Knickerbocker Road, toward Tenafly.
The prosecutor's office sent out an image of what the grill of the suspect's vehicle would look like.
The color of the car is unknown, but the model of the car is likely a 2000-2002 Audi A4, 2000-2004 Audi A6, or 2001-2005 Audi Allroad.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Fatal Accident Investigation Unit at (201)-226-5595, or the Englewood Police Department at (201)-568-2700.
