2 accused of placing fake bomb near Mineola government building

MINEOLA -

Police say two people are facing charges after bottles of liquids were left in the front of a Mineola government building.

According to police, Suzanne Myron and Stephen Figuarsmith left 120 bottles of an unknown liquid in front of the county legislature. 125 more bottles were found in a car parked nearby.

The liquid was found to be non-hazardous.

Myron and Figurasmith were charged with placing a false bomb.
