Brooklyn pizzeria honors John Travolta

John Travolta was honored Tuesday by the Brooklyn pizzeria he helped put on the map with his performance in "Saturday Night Fever."
Travolta was honored outside Lenny's Pizza. The pizzeria was made famous by the scene in which Travolta's character, Tony Manero, ordered two slices of pizza and eats them stacked on top of one another as he walks down the street.
Large crowds gathered hours ahead of time to see the star of the 1977 film. Travolta signed autographs and even hit some of his iconic dance moves.
State Sen. Marty Golden was in attendance and said Travolta's performance culturally put Brooklyn on the map.
Lenny's is naming a slice of pizza in the actor's honor as part of the welcome back celebration.
