A Sayville man is accused of driving drunk and crashing into a home.
Police say 23-year-old Cody DeGiovine slammed his BMW into the living room of a house on Potomac Lane around 10 p.m. Saturday.
Witnesses tell News 12 he had no shirt on and was only wearing one shoe.
According to neighbors the family who lives in the home has two young children. The homeowner tells News 12 they had all made their way upstairs to go to sleep shortly before that car slammed into the side of their house.
No one inside the home was hurt.
The town of Islip was called in to check on the structural damage.
DeGiovine was charged with DWI.
People who live on the street say speeding and running through stop signs are also big problems.
