Motorcyclist killed in Elmont crash

ELMONT -

A motorcyclist is dead after a crash in Elmont.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. Friday on Belmont Boulevard at Atherton Avenue.

Police say 26-year-old Anthony Ciambrone, of Port Jefferson Station, collided with an SUV and was ejected from his motorcycle.

Ciambrone was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

A GoFundMe page has been created for Ciambrone's family. The page says he leaves behind a wife and son.
