Suffolk woman accused of lying about rape takes plea deal

The South Setauket woman who was accused of lying about being raped is heading to prison.
Jury selection in Nikki Yovino's case was supposed to start Tuesday in Connecticut, but instead she took a plea deal and will serve a year behind bars.
In 2016, Yovino accused two Sacred Heart University football players of sexually assaulting her at a party.
She later admitted to making the story up to gain sympathy from a man she wanted to date.
