Muslim, Jewish and Christian leaders from surrounding neighborhoods held an interfaith dinner Monday night at the Justice Sonia Sotomayor Houses in Soundview.
Members of the Muslim community were fasting for the Ramadan holiday, so the others waited and joined in when it was time to break that fast.
Local leaders also attended and spoke about how different cultures and religions have made New York what it is today.
