Protesters are calling for a halt to the proposed Islanders arena at Belmont Park.
A group marched with signs around the park's gates on Sunday to bring awareness to the project.
They say plans are being rushed and the voice of the surrounding community is being ignored.
Some of the concerns include project costs, parking issues, and noise.
The Islanders' project includes an 18,000-seat arena, 435,000 square feet of retail space and a hotel.
