2 wounded in another shooting at Sunshine Deli

A double shooting rocked Bridgeport's East End Thursday night, and police are stepping up patrols around a deli where at least five people have been shot so far this year.
Gunfire erupted around 11 p.m., police say, striking a man in the leg and grazing a woman's head as well as shattering the windows of the Sunshine Deli at Stratford and Union avenues.
The injuries were not life-threatening, according to investigators.
Police say they're examining surveillance video and hope to soon make an arrest in the latest shooting.
As News 12 has reported, two gunmen opened fire at the same location in February, one with an assault-style weapon, wounding three people, including one of the shooters.
Bridgeport Police Chief AJ Perez says the department is increasing patrols throughout the entire East End.
