A News 12 Long Island viewer helped reunite a quadriplegic man with his lost companion dog.
News 12 aired reports all Friday on Danny Kriedter's lost Chihuahua-Jack Russell terrier mix, Moe. The dog had gone missing Wednesday.
A 14-year-old girl found the dog and recognized Moe after seeing the reports on News 12 Long Island.
Kriedter, who lost the use of his arms and legs in an accident in 1994, was worried sick about Moe.
Kriedter and his nurse called News 12 after being reunited with Moe. They said Andrea refused the reward that had been offered and thanked all the volunteers who had helped look for Moe.
