Oyster Bay's former deputy supervisor Len Genova was back on the stand for a third day Wednesday at the federal corruption trial of Ed Mangano, his wife Linda and John Venditto.
Genova testified that the town falsified critical financial statements.
He says he and Venditto purposely failed to disclose the town's indirect guarantees of restaurateur Harendra Singh's personal loans to creditors as part of a cover-up.
Genova says he and Venditto accepted bribes from Singh.
Following Singh's arrest in 2016, the town's credit rating plummeted to junk bond status.
