The Long Island Rail Road is being sued over the death of a man who may have slipped through the gap at the Lynbrook station.
Karl Aarseth,65, was killed by a train April 5.
Officials say his body was found on the platform.
News 12 has learned Aarseth’s best friend is now suing the LIRR for $10 million.
The lawsuit says the Lynbrook man got “entangled” in the gap before being dragged by the train.
The National Transportation Safety Board is now investigating the incident.
