SELDEN -

A woman lost control of her car and crashed into a tanker truck near the entrance of Suffolk Community College this morning, according to police.

Police say the woman, driving a BMW, lost control and rear-ended a petroleum truck in front of the school.

The crash closed northbound Nicolls at Horseblock Road.

Officials say first responders had to cut the 48-year-old Oakdale woman from her car. She was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are investigating if a third vehicle was involved.
