Police release video of suspect in attack on Jewish man

Police have released new video showing a suspect wanted in connection with an attack last weekend on an Orthodox Jewish man in Crown Heights.
The victim, Menachem Moskowitz, says the suspect beat him and choked him Saturday as he walked down Rutland Road, with the suspect saying he hates Jews and was going to kill Moskowitz. The attack left Moskowitz with a black eye, bruising and a broken rib. He says he's lucky to be alive after two strangers jumped in to help.
Police describe the suspect as in his 40s, standing about 6 feet tall and weighing about 200 pounds. They say he appears to have a beard and was wearing dark clothing.
A $50,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the man responsible.
Another Jewish man was attacked in the area the week before Moskowitz was assaulted. Police have not determined whether both attacks are related.
