Blind pedestrian, guide dog hit in Morristown crosswalk

A blind pedestrian and his guide dog were both hit by a car Saturday morning in Morristown.
The Daily Record reports that the 61-year-old and his dog were in a crosswalk near South Street.
The driver reportedly said that she didn't see the pair as she was turning. The man was taken to the hospital for hip and leg pain and the dog is being checked out as a precaution.
The driver was issued a summons.
