Business Briefs: Netflix, Tesla, Domino's

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK -

Netflix now has 125 million subscribers around the world. Shares surged after the company said it added 7.4 million subscribers in the first three months of 2018, up 50 percent from the same quarter a year earlier. Netflix plans to spend $8 billion on shows and movies this year.

Another day, another production delay for Tesla. The company is temporarily suspending production of its Model 3 vehicles to improve bottlenecks in the manufacturing process. The planned pause is expected to last less than a week, but it is the second suspension since February as Tesla struggles to meet its production goals.

Want to have pizza on the beach? Domino's has got you covered. The pizza chain is adding 150,000 outdoor delivery "hotspots" across the country to make it even easier for hungry customers to access a slice. Some famous hotspots include the Las Vegas welcome sign, under the Gateway Arch in St. Louis and New York's Central Park.
