Gerber moving corporate headquarters from Florham Park to Virginia
New Jersey-based baby food giant Gerber announced plans to move its corporate headquarters out of Florham Park to Arlington, Virginia.
The company says that it is choosing to move out of state in order to be closer to its parent company, Nestle USA.
About 180 people work at the New Jersey location. A spokesperson for the company says that nearly all of those workers will be offered relocation to Virginia.
The announcement comes just weeks after another major New Jersey corporation, Toys ‘R’ Us, announced plans to liquidate all of its store locations due to financial issues.
