Trout season begins Saturday morning at 6 a.m., and anglers of all ages are heading to supplies stores across western Connecticut.

At Jimmy O's Bait and Tackle in Bridgeport, customers have been coming in for bait, supplies and fishing licenses all day.

"It's just the fact that the season's starting, warm weather's coming, and everyone's just full of life and happiness," says Jimmy O, the owner.

A fishing license costs $28. Trout fishing requires another $5 for a trout stamp.
