Suspect sought in attempted robbery at Uniondale hotel

Police say there was an attempted robbery at a hotel in Uniondale.

In surveillance video, you can see a man as he tried to rob the front desk of the Long Island Marriott around 4 a.m. Wednesday morning.

News 12 has learned the suspect was told no money was kept at the desk, and he took off.

The suspect was then seen leaving in a bluish-green Honda Civic hatchback.

Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to call Nassau Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
