The Long Island Rail Road parking garage in Hicksville will shut down this summer as crews fix structural problems.
The Town of Oyster Bay says the closures of 1,400 parking spots begin in July.
"Maybe I'll just take my motorcycle to the city," jokes Syosset resident Gabi Mizrahi. "It would be cheaper."
The town says it's trying to come up with alternatives for commuters. The plan may include shuttle service to and from an alternative parking site.
"Where are people going to park?" wonders Lori Auerback, of Plainview. "There's no place to park now."
Commuters are already getting headaches.
"I don't know what we're going to do," says Heather Barca, also of Plainview.
