An Elmont man is accused of abandoning his two dogs when he moved.

Prosecutors say Mian Siddique's Great Danes were neglected for as long as three months.

One of the dogs was so sick when he was found in January he later died.

The other has recovered and has since been adopted.

If convicted, Siddique could get one year in prison and a $1,000 fine.
