Man accused of posing as NYPD officer in Carle Place

A Bayville man is accused of posing as a police officer in Carle Place.

Police say on Tuesday Brett Zebrowski started knocking on front doors on Cornwall Lane.

Several people called police to say the 29-year-old was identifying himself as an NYPD officer.

According to police, Zebrowski was looking for someone he was fighting with.

Police arrested him and charged him with criminal impersonation.
