A Bridgeport man will spend the next three decades behind bars for a gunfight that left a 14-year-old boy dead.
A judge sentenced 24-year-old Michael Majors to 30 years for manslaughter and another five years on a weapons charge.
Investigators say Majors and another man shot at each other outside a Bridgeport store on Christmas Eve 2015.
Fourteen-year-old Luis Colon was killed by a stray bullet.
Majors pleaded guilty in February, but maintained he fired in self-defense.
The other man awaits trial on a murder charge.
