Christians across LI celebrate Easter

ROCKVILLE CENTRE -

Christians across Long Island celebrated the resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter.

News 12's Antoinette Biordi was at St. Agnes Church in Rockville Centre to speak with parishioners as they celebrated Easter Sunday Mass.

Parishioners packed the pews at the church, as Bishop John Barres spread a message of hope and love.

Many Long Island families say that Easter means church services and many traditions.

For the Bocchino family on Sunday, it meant starting a new Easter tradition with their 10-month-old daughter, Gianna.

Kids like Keith Hall say they have their eyes set on the festivities after Mass, which includes eating candy and being with the family.
