A man was fatally shot and several others were injured during an altercation at a Lindenhurst nightclub early Saturday morning, police say.
It happened around 3:30 a.m. at Club 105 Grados, located at 105 Sunrise Highway.
The victim, identified as 28-year-old Herminio Torres, was pronounced dead at the hospital.
One other person was also shot, and three people were stabbed during the incident, according to police. Police say those victims, all male between the ages of 23-35, took themselves to the hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening. Their identities were not released.
Police blocked off nearby 41st and 42nd streets at Straight Path Saturday morning as part of the investigation.
Investigators were combing over the scene looking for evidence. But details on a possible suspect in the case have not been released at this time.
Police are looking to interview people who were at the bar. They are urging anyone with information about the incident to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
