Former Hofstra basketball player Zeke Upshaw has died after collapsing on court during a NBA G League game. Former Hofstra basketball player Zeke Upshaw has died after collapsing on court during a NBA G League game.

Former Hofstra basketball player Zeke Upshaw has died after collapsing on court during a NBA G League game.

Upshaw, a player with the Grand Rapids Drive, collapsed near the end of a game versus the Long Island Nets on Saturday.

Family members say he died today at 11:15 a.m.

A cause of death was not listed, but reports say he suffered cardiac arrest during the game.

Hofstra posted a remembrance of Upshaw Monday.
