Snow doesn't deter drivers in Smithtown

News 12 Long Island's Averi Harper spoke with some drivers in Smithtown who didn't seem to be bothered by Wednesday's storm.

Wet, heavy and dense snow fell throughout the day in Smithtown.

Many people brushed off the storm by the afternoon. Some said they were getting in some shopping before the storm worsened.

Still, drivers were urged to avoid travel if possible.
