It’s spring and golfers are itching to hit the greens, but Mother Nature has other plans.
Golfers were actually on the course yesterday, hours ahead of the Island’s fourth nor’easter in just a few weeks.
“We’re gonna be chasing the snow and letting things melt for the next few days,” says Bethpage Park Golf groundskeeper Andrew Wilson.
Though the snow will set the course back a few days, hopes are high for the season to get into full swing.
“Hopefully Good Friday will be a great Friday,” said Wilson.
