Wilton students sported new looks by shaving their heads for a good cause.
Students cut their hair Thursday for pledges going toward the St. Baldrick's Foundation for childhood cancer research.
The event was organized by the Wilton High School St. Baldrick's Club.
"It's kind of cold when you lose your hair, but it's really empowering to see all of your peers come together and participate in such a great cause," says club co-president Johnny Maggio. "It's really nice to see everyone doing something together."
Organizers say they raised more than $25,000 through the event, and expect the number to rise in the coming days.
