An after school program is teaching children in Brooklyn how to create stop motion animation.
The fourth- and fifth-grade students at P.S. 212 are learning the art of stop motion animation.
Stop motion involves taking pictures of objects frame by frame and then compiling them together to create motion in the form of a video.
The students use a camera connected to a computer and software to create a film like cartoon.
The program's director Mariana Moore say the class is so popular that kids beg her to be a part of it every day.
