Bridgeport snow melts quickly after 3rd round of winter weather

The snow melted as quickly as it fell in Bridgeport Tuesday after a third round of winter weather dumped inches of accumulation across the region.
News 12 reporter Marissa Alter said there was little evidence left that heavy bands of snow blew through the area.
Bridgeport students had a snow day and city services were closed at noon. Snow blanketed cars and left streets slushy. By the late afternoon, however, all was pretty much dry.
“I'm hoping this is the last one but if it comes again, I'll welcome it. No problem for me,” said Bobby Simmons, of Bridgeport.
