A fundraiser was held this past weekend to give financial and emotional support to a Norwalk family going through a hard time.

Lucy Mazzo has been in intensive care at Yale New Haven Hospital since suffering from a brain aneurysm in January.

Money raised from the 50/50 raffle and silent auction will go toward her medical expenses and other family expenses.

"Just by seeing all of the raffle prizes, the donations, people have gave and how many people have shown up today, it truly is amazing," says fundraiser organizer Jill Barry. "I'm overwhelmed, but I'm so grateful for everyone who's come out."

The event was held at BJ Ryan's.
