Professional athletes and celebrities hit the court at the Nassau Coliseum Sunday for a special event to raise funds for a good cause.
The D-Up On Cancer event brought together MMA fighters, WWE wrestlers and even a few News 12 Long Island team members.
D-Up On Cancer founder Michael Mak says the event directly helps people in the community affected by cancer.
"That's the best thing about it, directly helping people in the community," Mak says. "Because you see these people, you interact with them every day. It's a great feeling to have that."
Mak says the event will impact more than 1,000 local people affected by cancer.
