Police: Man seriously injured in Patchogue shooting

PATCHOGUE -

A man was shot in the stomach in Patchogue late Friday night, according to police.

The incident happened on Maple Avenue just before midnight.

Police say the victim was taken to Stony Brook Hospital with serious injuries.

There is no word yet on a motive and police are still looking for the gunman.
