Posted: Updated:

Police say they arrested a man for driving with a license that was suspended 64 times.

According to police, Jaquan Joas, 27, was operating his car on State Avenue when officers initiated a traffic stop. A check on Joas’ driver’s license showed it had been suspended numerous times.

Joas was not the registered owner of the vehicle, police say.

Officers arrested Joas, of North Amityville, and charged him with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and an outstanding parole warrant.
