A number of Long Islanders in Huntington said Wednesday that they were trying to go about their business as normally as possible as a nor'easter pounded the Island with rain, sleet and wet snow.
News 12's Averi Harper visited Huntington Village to see how people there were coping with it.
One commuter who identified herself as Diana said she thought conditions would be milder when she awoke Wednesday morning and saw light rain. That turned to heavier snow by the early evening.
"I have a truck though, so I'll put it in four-wheel-drive," she said.
Sandy Nilsson, who said she just returned to Florida, is sick of the weather.
"I think it stinks," she said. "I'm so over this weather. It's horrible."
