Police: Armed robbers held up 2 pharmacies, stole drugs

Police say two Nassau pharmacies were held up by gunmen over the past few days.
The first robbery happened at the CVS on North Central Avenue in Valley Stream around 3 a.m. Saturday.
The second happened shortly after 2:30 a.m. Monday at the Walgreens on Hempstead Turnpike in Bethpage.
In both robberies, the suspects were armed with handguns, and were wearing masks and gloves.
They got away with amphetamines, oxycodone, Percocet and cough medicine.
No arrests have been made.
