Police have identified a man wanted in connection to the fatal shooting of a Brooklyn rapper at a Bronx housing complex.
Carl Henley, 34 is wanted in connection to the fatal shooting of Melvin Batties, police say.
The incident happened on Jan. 16, inside the courtyard of the Sedgwick Houses on W. 174th Street near Popham Avenue in Morris Heights just before 7:10 p.m.
Batties, 33, was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the neck.
He was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Batties was an aspiring musician, according to friends, and often filmed music videos at the Sedgwick Houses.
