Police released surveillance video of a man and woman accused of using a credit card that was stolen out of a car in Rockville Centre.
The theft occurred on Maple Avenue near the Rockville Centre police station around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
A short time later, police say the man and woman were seen entering a CVS on Sunrise Highway in Baldwin.
Authorities believe the pair smashed windows and stole items from two other cars Wednesday – one was outside a temple on Hempstead Avenue, the other was next to a school on Ohio Street.
Police say a blueish-gray, four-door Nissan was seen driving nearby at each scene.
Police are urging anyone who recognize the man and woman to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
