An ice cream parlor from the 1930s is being restored to its former glory in Park Slope as the latest outpost of Ample Hills Creamery.
The property, located on the grounds of the Old Pavilion Movie Theater, was almost turned into a residential complex.
The mom-and-pop business opened in Prospect Heights in 2011 and now has nine locations.
Every Ample Hills location has a signature flavor, like a chocolate ice cream named "It Came From Gowanus."
